Mushroom Pepper Masala

You will need these ingredients:

Button Mushroom - 250gms
Onion - 1 sliced
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
green chilli - 1
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 and 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Tomato - 1 chopped
Salt - to taste

Method:

1. Clean and cut the mushrooms and rub in the turmeric and salt.
2. Heat oil in a pan, splutter the mustard and fry the ginger garlic paste, chilli and the curry leaves.
3. Add in the coriander, black pepper and garam masala powder. Stir the mixture for 2 minutes.
4. Add in the onion and saute for couple of minutes, until the onion is partially cooked.
5. Add in the tomato and saute this until the oil separates from the gravy.
6. Add the mushrooms and mix well.
7. Lower the flame and cook this until the mushrooms are done.
8. Serve hot with chapatis.
